President Obama has paid tribute to the people of Boston at a memorial service for victims of the bomb attacks at the city’s Marathon on Monday. At an interface gathering Mr. Obama said bombers could not be Boston or American. The U.S. department of justice has accused Guinea-Bissau's top military official of plotting to traffic cocaine to America and sell weapon to the Columbia rebel group FARC. Correspondent say the accusation against General Antonio Indjai. It is the first official signal: “the criminality in Guinea-Bissau, they go straight to the top”.
Israel is refusing permission for Palestinian runners from Gaza to take part in the first west bank marathon this weekend. The Israeli military has refused to give the runners permit to leave Gaza at the territory ruled by Hamas, which it considers a terrorist organization.
